Introducing Our All-Star Coaching Team: Ready to Elevate the Next Generation of Ski Athletes!
I am beyond excited to introduce three incredible new head coaches to the KSEF team this season! These coaches bring decades of experience, a competitive racing background, and a deep connection to the mountain community. They are all dedicated to developing confident, technically skilled athletes who not only excel in their sport but also support and inspire one another.
Coach Justeen Ferguson – U14 Head Coach
Justeen brings over a decade of experience coaching U10–U14 athletes across top Tahoe-area programs. A former national-level racer, she’s worked with the U.S. Ski Team, American Downhiller, and Ganong's School of Speed. Justeen is known for her ability to blend sharp technical coaching with mindset training and team leadership. Her goal is to help young athletes push their limits, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for ski racing.

Coach Kendall Northrop – U12 Head Coach
A South Lake Tahoe local, Kendall was a standout racer for the Heavenly Ski Foundation and earned international recognition at the Whistler Cup and U.S. Nationals. She has raced FIS in New Zealand, trained in Europe, and coached younger athletes. Kendall is passionate about personal training, running half-marathons, and horseback riding with her son, Jack. She’s excited to help the next generation of athletes grow their skills and passion for the sport.

Coach Alisa Ferrier – Jr. Devo Head Coach
Coach Alisa Ferrier – Jr. Devo Head Coach
With over 30 years in the sport, Alisa holds certifications in PSIA Alpine Level 2, Children’s Specialist, and USSS Level 100. She combines her technical expertise with a passion for early athlete development. Alisa has been coaching since college, raising three boys in Tahoe, and working in healthcare. She’s known for her thoughtful, supportive approach, helping young athletes build a strong foundation while having fun.
