A Foundation for the Future: Construction Begins on the KSEF Race Building!

The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived. We are thrilled to announce that construction on the KSEF Race Building is officially underway! After years of dedicated planning and community effort, the ground has been broken, and the first concrete for the foundation is being poured. This is a monumental step forward for our entire KSEF community.

This long-awaited facility will be more than just a building; it will be the heart of our program. It provides a dedicated hub for KSEF athletes, coaches, and families to connect, prepare, and celebrate. From critical space for tuning gear and coordinating race day operations to simply having a warm "home base" on the mountain, this facility will transform the daily experience for everyone in our program.

📅 Project Timeline

• Fall 2025: Foundation completed.

• Summer 2026: Building construction completed and prepared for use.

• 2026/27 Ski Season: We move in! The race building will be fully operational—housing team gear, providing space for coaches and athletes, and serving as a gathering place for our entire community.

This building represents more than just concrete and beams—it’s a powerful investment in the future of our athletes and the legacy of KSEF. By providing a dedicated, modern space, we are empowering our skiers with the resources they need for stronger training, more efficient race day preparation, and a deeper sense of pride and belonging in their home on the mountain.

This milestone is a direct result of the incredible support from our families, coaches, and the entire Kirkwood community. Thank you.
