Board of Directors and Bylaws Update:
As we wind down the FY24/25 season and enthusiastically prepare for FY25/26, the KSEF Board is actively strengthening our governance structure. Our immediate goal is to re-establish a robust, seven-member Board of Directors. We are proactively seeking qualified candidates deeply committed to our mission and aligned with our community’s aspirations.
Currently, we are engaging in thoughtful discussions with two promising candidates to explore how their expertise aligns with our strategic goals and community needs.
Concurrently, we are diligently working with Charitable Allies, a specialized non-profit legal team, to thoroughly review and update our KSEF Bylaws. This process includes incorporating best practices, staggered terms, and clear term limits for Board members, ensuring stable and effective governance.
We are also finalizing our FY25/26 budget and developing a strategic 3 to 5-year roadmap, reaffirming our commitment to financial transparency and responsible stewardship. Additionally, Scott Fair will lead our Events and Fundraising Committee, actively seeking parent volunteers to support our events and fundraising initiatives.
