Night Training - 4064 | Winter 26/27
KSEF Night Training Program
FY26/27 Season | Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Exclusive to Registered FY26/27 KSEF Athletes
Program Overview
Night Training is available exclusively to athletes who are registered in a KSEF program for the FY26/27 winter season. This is not a standalone program and is not open to non-KSEF athletes, drop-ins, or the general public. Athletes must be enrolled in Jr. Devo, U10, U12, U14, U16, Full-Time Elite, or the Masters Alpine Race Program to participate.
Night Training adds two focused midweek evening sessions to your athlete's training schedule. More gate time. More coached repetitions. More progress. For athletes looking to accelerate their development and gain a competitive edge during the week, this is the most efficient way to get additional time on the race course with KSEF coaches.
Sessions are staffed by four KSEF coaches per night and structured by age, class, and skill level, ensuring every athlete trains at the right intensity from Jr. Devo through Masters.
FY26/27 Schedule
Night Training runs Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, snow conditions permitting. The start date will be published on the KSEF calendar.
Athlete Training Time: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Coach On-Mountain Coverage: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
A typical evening:
4:00 PM. Coaches load chair, set lanes, and finalize the training plan.
4:30 PM. Athlete check-in, warm-up, and on-snow training begins.
6:15 PM. Final runs and cool down.
6:30 PM. Athletes released.
6:30 to 7:00 PM. Coaches pull course and wrap up.
Athletes are supervised at all times during the training window. Coaches communicate with families through KSEF's TeamSnap and direct email. Any schedule changes due to weather or conditions are communicated promptly.
Training Focus
Every Night Training session is structured, coached, and purposeful. Athletes rotate through lanes based on age, class, and skill level. The focus:
SL and GS fundamentals and race-course execution.
Gate awareness, timing, and tactical line selection.
Technical skiing drills that reinforce and build on weekend training.
Video review when available.
Night sessions are designed to complement your athlete's primary KSEF program, not replace it. The additional gate reps and focused coaching time accelerate development across every discipline.
Required Equipment
Athletes should arrive with the same race-appropriate equipment required for their enrolled KSEF program. A MIPS ski helmet with chin/face guard is required at all times. Athletes should also bring goggles with clear or low-light lenses suitable for evening conditions. Dress for Kirkwood after dark: it is 7,800 feet, and temperatures drop fast once the sun goes down.
FY26/27 Registration and Pricing
Night Training is a separate add-on to your FY26/27 KSEF winter program enrollment. It is not included in base program tuition.
Night Training pricing for FY26/27 will be published on the KSEF registration page at kirkwoodskiteam.com. Night Training follows the same phased pricing structure as all KSEF programs. The best pricing is available now. Once a pricing window closes, it does not reopen.
Season Pass: All athletes must hold a valid season pass for Kirkwood that covers Night Training sessions. Lift tickets and day passes are not accepted.
Space is limited. Contact the Program Administrator for pricing details and registration.
