In the deep archives of Kirkwood history—way back in 1993—Dave "Harpo" Shear and a band of visionaries dug the foundation for a culture that has outlasted us all. 33 years later, the torch is burning brighter than ever. We are returning to the hallowed walls of Snowsnake Gully to honor the heritage, the history, and the tribe that calls this mountain home.
This isn’t just a race; it’s a high-speed reunion. It starts with the heavy drop into the Toilet Bowl before you're fired down the gully, working the banks and holding your line off the walls from top to bottom. It’s a test of nerves, a celebration of community, and a quest for local fame.
This year, the legend gets a fresh look. We are proud to unveil the revived 2026 LBS Banked Logo and official event poster, beautifully designed by the incredibly talented Chelsea Evans (aka Chellyfish | @chellyxfish). Her art captures the raw energy of the gully. Make sure to grab a piece of history at the event.
This year is special. We are stoked to announce the return of Coop to the venue, not just as a name in the archives, but as your Official MC and LBS Host. After decades in the gully, Coop is back on the mic to bring the energy, call the lines, and keep the #StokeLevelSolid from the first drop to the final podium.
We stand on the shoulders of giants—and some who are just legends in their own minds! From the icons who carved the first turns in the banks of Snowsnake, names like Tele-Rob, Boucher, the Hammerleins, the Daiek Clan, and Harpo, to the heavy hitters like Surfhan, Garbones, A-Bomb, Befu, Tonto, the Thomsons, and Marcus "The Destroyer." They, and so many others, built the spirit of this gully.
Now, it’s your turn. From the original hard chargers to the next generation of Groms finding their edge, this is our time. Whether you’re on a Board, Sticks, or a Snowskate, the gully doesn't care; it only asks how much fire you’ve got in your belly.
