KSEF Board of Directors Update – Kicking Off FY25/26!
Well, here we go! The FY25/26 season is officially underway, and we’re thrilled to share that we’ve hit a record number of both returning and new registrations as we kick off this exciting year. The energy and enthusiasm from our athletes, families, and community are truly contagious, and we’re excited about what’s ahead.
The Board is especially excited about the tremendous progress being made in the coaching realm. Kylese and Dana have been hard at work, both retaining and recruiting an incredibly talented team of coaches for the season ahead. We are confident that our athletes will receive the best coaching, support, and guidance as they continue to develop their skills and passion for the sport.
In addition to the coaching upgrades, we’re also making exciting improvements to our KSEF Team Room. As part of our commitment to enhancing both team spirit and athlete development, we’re focusing on updates that will support collaboration and cutting-edge technology:
New Video Editing Equipment: To assist our athletes and coaches in reviewing footage and refining their techniques.
Big Screen Monitor for Athlete Development: A new tool that will allow for real-time review and more dynamic training sessions.
In Conversations with Protern IO: We’re excited about the potential of integrating this new tech tool to provide further support for our athletes and coaches in their development.
As we work toward a successful season, we want to update our community on a few important ongoing initiatives. We are still a few months away from finalizing and sharing a revised set of Board Bylaws, but please be assured that we are actively working on these updates to ensure they align with our evolving needs. Additionally, we’re having active discussions with two potential Board members who bring invaluable skills and experience. Both individuals are well-known in our communities and will be a great asset to the Board, further enhancing our ability to serve KSEF and the broader community.
Budgets for the season are well underway and currently under review. We're excited about the direction we’re heading and the financial stability we continue to establish.
And now, for some truly exciting news – the KSEF Race Building is coming to life! We cannot thank the community enough for its unwavering support. A special thank you to Anne-Flore for the incredible designs, Kirk for the engineering, and to Ricky Newberry and Kirkwood Mountain Resort for their outstanding contributions. This project is a game-changer for our program, and we can’t wait to see it completed and put to use by our athletes and coaches.
As always, we are deeply grateful for your support, and we look forward to sharing more updates in the months ahead. Here’s to an amazing season!
