We are delighted and proud to introduce Kylese Markt as our new Athletic Director—an inspiring leader deeply rooted in our community, passionate about skiing, and wholeheartedly committed to taking our KSEF experience to exciting new heights
Kylese’s connection to Kirkwood runs deep; she grew up racing on these very slopes, developing lifelong friendships, and cultivating an enduring passion for our community. Beyond her years as a young athlete in our program, Kylese has dedicated eight impactful years as our U16 coach, fostering athlete development and strong team dynamics. With impressive international competitive experience spanning FIS races and the Nor-Am circuit, and training across Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, Kylese brings invaluable expertise and insights to our program.
Recognizing the critical role of mental strength alongside athletic excellence, Kylese pursued a Master's degree in Sports Psychology and further enriched her knowledge through an internship with the New Zealand Ski Team. Her combined expertise in technical skill development and psychological preparation uniquely positions her to guide our athletes, support our coaches, and nurture our community.
Under Kylese’s enthusiastic and mindful leadership, we are excited to embark on initiatives designed to strengthen community bonds, enhance communication, and elevate coaching standards:
